The Glory We Give

We dare not make the same mistake that Israel made. We must glorify God! How?

1. Accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord- “to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27).

2. Serve Jesus Christ with Your Life- “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16).

3. Acknowledge Jesus Christ In All You Do- “Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31).

4. Build a Church Family That Exalts the Living God- “to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:21).

How do we give glory to God? Do we? (that may be the bigger question!) We must become consumed with the desire to bring glory to God- a burning passion to glorify Him. How do we do that? By reflecting His glory to those around us so that He is praised and glorified! Otherwise, we have…
